With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

They work as advertised
I live in SoCal, and I've got 3 of them (2 2-gallon and 1 3-gallon) in use out back right now, and everything is growing well.
I plan to put several new fruit trees in 65-gallon Smart Pots this spring----Navel orange, fig and avocado.
Right now I am growing shallots, garlic and heirloom tomatoes in them.
So far, they are performing as well as claimed by the sellers.
If I learn anything new about them, good or bad, I will subsequently report on it in this space, in coming months.
But so far, so good.
===========Supplemental report (several months later) :
As time passes, I have become convinced that the bigger smart pot you use, the easier and better will be the results.
The 2 and 3 gallon sizes seem fine for spices or smaller plants,but need more frequent watering than the bigger containers.
It's early June now, and I have a dozen Smart Pots currently in use.
Once again, with fiber pots, bigger works...

These Smart Pots are great for growing plants in. They provide great aeration and are obviously lighter in weight than normal pots. But you do have to be careful with these because the soil will dry out faster than a normal pot. For some plants this is actually a good thing because it allows for more frequent watering and allow for better control of your growing environment.
These Are Very Smart Pots!
I used a #5 Smart Pot for the 1st w/ a transplant, and it worked so well that I use Smart Pots from start to finish now! I now start w/ the #1 Pots & keep moving up...The rest of my life if I'm growing in soil, I'm using a Smart Pot!!!
Your plants will love em! The 1st time w/ the transplant, I could see my the plants getting healthier & stronger w/in a week.
Yes you can have trouble using Smart Pots, but that can be taken care of w/ 1 word:
Prevention! Read up & learn how to use the Smart Pots properly & you will have no problems.
And it is 2 simple things:
1. Keep em off flat ground. So they can drain properly. You do not want them to be sitting in a puddle of nasty water!
2. Since they are made of cloth, they do dry out faster & need to be watered more often.
If you do those 2 things you should have no problems! In fact, you should be so satisfied, that like me you will never return to plastic pots again!
